The Wright City Lumberjax put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against De Queen as Wright City made off with a 68-46 victory. Considering Wright City has won six matchups by more than 21 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Madison Carter was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 38 points and 10 rebounds. The game was her tenth in a row with at least ten points. Braileigh Threadgill was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 12 rebounds and 6 steals.
Wright City's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for De Queen, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wright City will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Smithville at 6:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
