The Beloit Trojans put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 73-50 margin over Colby. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Beloit has posted since December 1, 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Beloit to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bryce Beisner, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Gerstner, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Beloit's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Colby, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beloit and Sacred Heart will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Sacred Heart is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Colby won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Goodland on January 20th. One thing working in Goodland's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matches.
