Allie Hammer, a senior setter for San Clemente High School, has been named the MaxPreps/AVCA California High School volleyball Player of the Week. She earned the honor after leading the Tritons to a 16-4 record to date, including six consecutive victories and wins in eight of their last nine contests.
Through her last seven games, Hammer has dished out 90 assists while the San Clemente offensive arsenal hit a .267 clip. Hammer also racked up four service aces, two blocks and four kills while digging up 27 balls.
San Clemente is coached by Rob O'Rear.
