Holy Cross had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They really took it to the St. Henry Crusaders for the full four quarters, racking up a 47-0 win. Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Holy Cross to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brian Ferguson, who rushed for 87 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 106 yards and three TDs. The dominant performance also gave Ferguson a new career-high in passer rating (134.8). Charles Oglesby was another key rusher, rushing for 133 yards and one score on only eight carries.
