 Northside  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 12  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive boards in 11 consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile, Southside ended up a good deal behind Carthage back in December of 2024 and lost  44-26. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Northside has  been performing  well recently as they've  won 11 of their last 13 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record  this season. As for Southside, they now  have a losing record at 1-2.
