Coahulla Creek had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Coahulla Creek Colts who were credited with the win on Friday. The Coahulla Creek Colts got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Calhoun Yellow Jackets's four. For the Colts, this counts as revenge for the 4-0 victory the Yellow Jackets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2019.

Natalie Brito and Megan Ramsey scored both of Coahulla Creek's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.
