Jefferson Prep's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 66-22 loss at the hands of Arrowhead Christian Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Jefferson Prep has scored all season.
Arrowhead Christian Academy was led to victory by Marcus Edwards and Asa Shaw. Edwards almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds, while Shaw scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Shaw has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Giulian Cabada, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Jefferson Prep's loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Arrowhead Christian Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.
Jefferson Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arrowhead Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Arizona Cultural Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Arrowhead Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four games.
