This season hasn't been kind to the Ridgeview Global Studies Academy Explorers , who are still winless after their eighth game. They took a 69-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Four Corners on Wednesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Several Explorers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bryan Lopez, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mehiel Charles, who scored 11 points.
Kesh Harpal continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Four Corners, scoring 35 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harpal has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Joshua Barnes, who scored 14 points.
Ridgeview Global Studies Academy bumped their record down to 0-8 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Four Corners, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgeview Global Studies Academy and Orlando Science will face off at 8:30 p.m. on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Orlando Science is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Four Corners, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
