The Woods Cross Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Northridge at home to the tune of 65-37. The score was close at the half, but Woods Cross pulled away in the second half with 40 points.
Woods Cross was led to victory by Grace Macarthur and Katie King. Macarthur scored 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while King scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Macarthur scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mari Nichols, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Woods Cross now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Northridge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.
Woods Cross will head out on the road to challenge Bountiful at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Bountiful will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. As for Northridge, they will be playing at home against Bonneville at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Bonneville has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 9.
