Blackman put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Riverdale Warriors by a score of 17-10. This was payback for the Blaze, who suffered a 31-17 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Blackman's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Riverdale, their loss dropped their record down to 1-2.

Blackman and Riverdale should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. The Blaze (ranked 14th) will meet Nolensville (ranked 70th) on Friday. Meanwhile, Riverdale will take on LaVergne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (27 vs. 215).
