Goodland came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Hugoton Eagles 65-35. The Cowboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Goodland pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points over those games. As for Hugoton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
