Paradise Honors has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Shadow Mountain Matadors at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Paradise Honors has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 193 points over their last three matches.
Paradise Honors has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 25 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 60-30 win over Greenway at home.
Paradise Honors' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Kaleo Mills, who scored 17 points along with three steals, and Tj Harris, who scored 24 points along with six assists and five rebounds. The match was Harris' 12th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Haslerig, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Shadow Mountain, who are still winless after their eighth match. They were dealt a 77-33 defeat at the hands of Cactus on Friday. While losing is never fun, Shadow Mountain can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 305th, while Cactus is ranked 32nd).
The victory got Paradise Honors back to even at 6-6. As for Shadow Mountain, they bumped their record down to 0-8 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Paradise Honors was able to grind out a solid victory over Shadow Mountain in their previous matchup back in January, winning 47-35. Will Paradise Honors repeat their success, or does Shadow Mountain have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
