Despite the loss, St. Luke's still got an impressive performance from Asher Abeles-tierney, who scored 18 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Abeles-tierney has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Bryan Wilson, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Canterbury School's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for St. Luke's, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
Canterbury School will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Avon Old Farms at 4:00 p.m. on February 24th. One thing working in Avon Old Farms' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five games. As for St. Luke's, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Brunswick School at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. St. Luke's is coming into the game with three straight defeats at home, meaning Brunswick School will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
