Riverdale suffered their biggest loss since November 30, 2023 on Friday. Their tough 72-46 loss to Fowler might stick with them for a while. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Riverdale has suffered against Fowler since May 17, 2021.
Meanwhile, Liberty came up short against Chowchilla on Friday and fell 62-49. Liberty has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Riverdale's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-8. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.
Things could have been worse for Riverdale, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-43 loss to Liberty when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Riverdale avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
