The Pipestem Christian Academy Panthers can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Monday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 66-21 victory over Granite Christian Academy. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-10.
Pipestem Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Enoch Gonderman, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. Gonderman is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last ten games he's played. Another player making a difference was Silas Mattox, who scored ten points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Pipestem Christian Academy's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-6. As for Granite Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Pipestem Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Lewisburg Baptist Academy at 7:00 p.m. Pipestem Christian Academy is coming into the game with four straight victories at home, meaning Lewisburg Baptist Academy will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. Granite Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
