Taylorsville is 1-9 against West Jordan since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Taylorsville Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the West Jordan Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. The timing isn't great for Taylorsville: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while West Jordan has snatched up five consecutive wins on the road.
Even though Hunter scored an imposing 56 points on Tuesday, Taylorsville still came out on top. Taylorsville snuck past Hunter with a 62-56 victory.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Taylorsville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kobe Allen, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten assists. Allen continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Bronson Dallimore was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, West Jordan made easy work of Kearns on Friday and carried off a 63-41 victory.
Taylorsville's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-12. As for West Jordan, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.
Taylorsville came up short against West Jordan in their previous meeting back in January, falling 55-50. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of West Jordan's Colton Blackham, who scored 25 points along with eight assists and two steals.
