Ava Flowers produced another solid effort getting seven digs and four aces for Leonard. That's the most aces Flowers has posted over her last five matches. Another player making a difference was Leah Stoy, who had nine kills, three digs, and three aces.
Bells' loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 16-13. As for Leonard, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 26-2.
Coincidentally, Bells and Leonard will both be playing Pottsboro the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
