After four games on the road, Divine Child is heading back home. They will take on the Lutheran North Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Divine Child has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Divine Child pushed their score all the way to 61 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were dealt a 91-61 defeat at the hands of Richard. While losing is never fun, Divine Child can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 385th, while Richard is ranked 48th).
Meanwhile, Lutheran North didn't have too much trouble with Marine City on the road on Monday as they won 57-41.
Joshua Brown continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games he's played. Brayden Monroe was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with four steals.
Divine Child's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Lutheran North, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
