The Crossroads Christian Colts stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They breezed by Cresset Christian Academy at home to the tune of 68-19. With Crossroads Christian ahead 43-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Crossroads Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brodrick Jenkins, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Ben Gladieux, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Despite the loss, Cresset Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Branson Green, who scored ten points.
The win makes it two in a row for Crossroads Christian and bumps their season record up to 13-3. As for Cresset Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
Crossroads Christian will square off against Ravenscroft at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Cresset Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Carolina Friends at 5:15 p.m. on January 16th. Carolina Friends will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
