C.B. Aycock won the last time they faced Hunt and things went their way on Thursday too. The C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons really took it to the Hunt Warriors for the full four quarters, racking up a 53-23 victory. The Golden Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 22 points or more this season.

C.B. Aycock got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brooklyn Morris out in front who posted ten points and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Morris a new career-high in shooting accuracy (80%). Audrey Teasley was another key player, putting up 12 points.

C.B. Aycock smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in six consecutive contests.

Despite the defeat, Hunt saw an underclassman step up: freshman Juliana Jones put up ten points.

C.B. Aycock has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.0 points over those games. Hunt's loss dropped their record down to 9-12.

C.B. Aycock has already played their next matchup, a 54-19 victory against Southern Wayne on the 14th. As for Hunt, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 65-48 defeat against Fike on the 14th.
