The McMichael Phoenix will head out on the road to face off against the North Forsyth Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for McMichael and seven for North Forsyth.
McMichael pushed their score all the way to 56 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were the victim of a rough 77-56 loss at the hands of Reidsville. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for McMichael in their matchups with Reidsville: they've now lost seven in a row.
Meanwhile, North Forsyth was beaten by West Stokes 86-37 on Friday. North Forsyth was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 56-25.
McMichael has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. As for North Forsyth, their loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-16.
McMichael took their victory against North Forsyth in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 70-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for McMichael since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
