The biggest week in Colorado high school basketball tipped off Monday at the Pepsi Center with the official announcement of the participants for the 14th annual The Show all-star games.
The Show all-star games, sponsored by the Denver Nuggets and the Gold Crown Foundation, recognized 40 of the state's top players. Players were selected by a panel of statewide media, which included MaxPreps. The game features players from all five of the state's classifications.
Overall, xx of the selections (xx boys, 11 girls) have their teams in contention to raise a Colorado High School Activities Association state championship trophy this weekend.
The Show all-star games will be played April 12 before the Nuggets game against the Utah Jazz. The girls game is scheduled for 1:30 pm, while the boys will play at approximately 3 pm.
Special ticket packages, that include both high school games and the NBA game, are available only through the Nuggets sales office at 303-287-DUNK.
