Eastside had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Buffalo Gap Bison get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Friday. The Spartans are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 14 straight.
Buffalo Gap's batters probably weren't too happy with Braelyn Hall, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 14 Ks (she gave up zero walks). Hall has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Eastside saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddie Compton, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.
