Memorial extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 20 on Monday, dropping them down to 0-4. They came up short against the Lowellville Rockets, falling 15-2. If the Red Devils were looking for revenge after losing 8-0 to the Rockets when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Memorial saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Pano Koladakis, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Koladakis is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.
As for Lowellville, the win was their first at home, bumping their record up to 3-4. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by six runs or more this season.
On Lowellville's side, Kaden Primous and Ricky Willrich made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Primous pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Meanwhile, Willrich pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. At bat, Primous went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI, while Willrich went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those four stolen bases gave Primous a new career-high.
In other batting news, Kasen Smith was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025. A.J. Boehlke also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
While Memorial had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
