Wakulla Christian School has not had much luck with Jefferson County recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Wakulla Christian School's loss came despite strong showings from CJ Nellum and Sawyer Lawhon. Nellum scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds, while Lawhon scored 5 points.
Wakulla Christian School's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-3. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.7 points per game. As for Jefferson County, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wakulla Christian School will take on Port St. Joe at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Port St. Joe focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Tuesday. As for Jefferson County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Franklin County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Franklin County is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
