Millville got a  massive  performance out of  Gunner Sternhagen, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-2.  Chase Reynolds also deserves some recognition as  he  brought in his first  RBI of the season.
 Millville  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sayre struck out eight times.
Millville's record is now 3-1. As for Sayre, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the  defeat, which was their sixth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millville will host Sullivan County  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Sayre, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Loyalsock Township  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Sayre is facing Loyalsock Township at the right time seeing as Loyalsock Township is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
