After flying high against Monahans last Tuesday, Alpine came back down to earth. Alpine fell 5-2 to the Anthony Wildcats on Friday. The Bucks' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Alpine's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Anthony, their record now sits at 4-11-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Alpine will challenge rival Presidio at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Anthony is set to face off against their familiar foe Tornillo at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
