Upland has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Don Lugo Conquistadores at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Upland's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matchups.
Even though Norco scored an imposing 66 points last Friday, Upland still came out on top. Upland managed a 72-66 victory over Norco. Given Upland's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while Norco is ranked 381st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought game, but Don Lugo had to settle for a 47-44 defeat against Diamond Ranch on Monday.
Upland has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Don Lugo, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
