Parish Hill's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Julie Millerd, who scored 11 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Millerd has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Hannah Becker, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds.
Despite the defeat, Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy saw an underclassman step up: Phebe Wenzler scored ten points along with two steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Parish Hill pulled down 23 offensive rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Parish Hill and bumps their season record up to 4-8. As for Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
