Valley Christian is 0-10 against Archbishop Mitty since May of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Warriors will venture away from home to face off against the Monarchs at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Valley Christian's hitters will try to repeat the strong performance they gave on Thursday, when they got past Woodside's usually-dominant pitching crew. The Warriors put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 12-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.
Hannah Paquiz made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Paquiz was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-5.

Friday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Valley Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .377. However, it's not like Archbishop Mitty struggles in that department as they've averaged .339. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Valley Christian suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to Archbishop Mitty when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
