After having lost a blowout to Cookeville in their previous game, Livingston Academy was happy to find some success on Friday. Livingston Academy were fully in charge, breezing past Cumberland County 41-3. That result is just more of the same for Livingston Academy, who also won the last time these teams played.
Livingston Academy's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 34 points in the first half. Cumberland County came up with 3 to make it 34-3 heading into the break. The other side of the ball continued to do well for Livingston Academy in the second half and held Cumberland County to 0 points. The win got Livingston Academy back to even at 1-1. The loss dropped Cumberland County's record to 0-2.
Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. Livingston Academy will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Upperman at 7:00 PM. Cumberland County will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Pigeon Forge at 6:30 PM.
