Brianna Long continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. She also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Noelle Coleman was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Hylton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They lost to Woodbridge at home by a decisive 54-37 margin.
Charles J. Colgan pushed their record up to 12-9 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points per game. As for Hylton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-19.
Everything came up roses for Charles J. Colgan against Hylton when the teams last played back in January as the team secured a 64-22 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Charles J. Colgan since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
