The Westampton Tech Panthers won the last time they faced the Pennsauken Indians, and things went their way on Friday too. Westampton Tech managed a 45-40 victory over Pennsauken.
Westampton Tech can attribute much of their success to Shakur Anderson, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Alexander Jeanty, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Westampton Tech now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Pennsauken, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westampton Tech's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Holy Cross at 5:15 p.m. on January 16th. Holy Cross is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Pennsauken, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Northern Burlington at 5:15 p.m. Northern Burlington has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 20.
