If the Centennial Eagles were riding high off their 84-58 takedown of the Port St. Lucie Jaguars last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Centennial fell 57-44 to Treasure Coast on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Centennial has scored all season.
Centennial lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Louis Llinas, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds. Jeremy Felix was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Treasure Coast, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centennial will take on Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Treasure Coast, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Melbourne at 7:00 p.m.
