If the Kings Knights were feeling good off their 86-65 takedown of the Milford Eagles on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Kings took a 61-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Little Miami on Friday. Kings was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Little Miami apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Little Miami's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jake Wittenauer, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Connor Istnick, who scored 12 points.
Kings has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Little Miami, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kings will square off against Turpin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Little Miami will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Northwest at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th.
