The Columbia Central Lions put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Sycamore by a score of 38-31.
Columbia Central was led to victory by Saviya Morgan and Tionna Davis. Morgan dropped a double-double on 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Davis scored 14 points along with 3 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Morgan has scored at least 25% of Columbia Central's points. Another player making a difference was Kayla Crawford, who scored 4 points.
Columbia Central's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Sycamore, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Columbia Central will take on Hillsboro at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sycamore, they will head out on the road to face off against White House-Heritage at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
