If Mize was feeling good fresh off their 11-0 takedown of Richton on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Sylva Bay Academy Saints by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Ethan Warren spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits.

At the plate, Trey Myers made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Walker Sullivan, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
