Farmington saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Grosso, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Grosso is becoming a predictor of the River Hawks' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 2-5 when he doesn't). Chase Clay also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Tolland also got a great performance from Chase Anderson as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over six innings pitched. Anderson has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Evan Clark was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. Corey Culhane was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.
Tolland's record now sits at 4-2. As for Farmington, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
