The New Oxford Colonials typically have all the answers at home, but on Friday the Hershey Trojans proved too difficult a challenge. Hershey snuck past New Oxford with a 34-28 win. The victory was nothing new for Hershey as they're now sitting on three straight.
It was another big night for Angel Cabrera, who rushed for 231 yards and three touchdowns.
Hershey pushed their record up to 9-3 with that win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.3 points per game. As for New Oxford, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-2.
Hershey will head out on the road to face off against Ephrata at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Ephrata is ranked 92nd, while Hershey is ranked 111th). New Oxford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
