The Tuttle Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Blanchard Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Tuttle's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
Tuttle is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 70-6 victory over Tecumseh. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Savages are ranked 155th) , the win on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tuttle's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shawn Rounsaville Jr, who rushed for 130 yards and two scores on only ten carries. With that strong performance, Rounsaville Jr is now averaging an impressive 102 rushing yards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Vanauken, who rushed for 145 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Tuttle was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 320 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.
Tuttle didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jalen Lane and Braxton Howell. Lane is also on a roll when it comes to receiving touchdowns, as he's now hauled in two or more in each of the last three games he's played.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Blanchard took on Ardmore on Thursday. The Lions fell 33-25 to the Tigers.
Tuttle will have to keep a close watch on Noah Smith and Cole Watkins, a pair of players who had a big impact on Blanchard's prior game. Smith threw for 228 yards and one TD, while Watkins picked up 114 receiving yards and one score.
Blanchard now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Tuttle, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Tuttle has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 192.7 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Blanchard struggles in that department as they've been averaging 148.1 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Tuttle took their victory against Blanchard in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 28-7 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
