Douglass will look to defend their home turf on Saturday against Friendly at 2:00 PM. Douglass have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
Douglass were able to grind out a solid win over Largo last Friday, winning 14-0. Douglass' success was spearheaded by the efforts of senior Cameron Munoz, who rushed for 73 yards and 1 touchdown, and junior Malik Pettaway, who picked up 48 yards on the ground and snatched 1 receiving TD.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-42, which was the final score in Friendly's tilt against Suitland. This makes it the second loss in a row for Friendly.
Douglass's victory lifted them to 3-1 while Friendly's defeat dropped them down to 1-3. The Douglass defense got after the quarterback against Largo to the tune of four sacks, so Friendly's offensive line better have put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the contest.
