Hayden won the last time they faced Topeka and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wildcats walked away with a 2-0 win over the Trojans.

Hailey Schmidtlein paced Hayden's offense, picking up 11 kills. Schmidtlein got some help from Blakely Walter and her 28 assists. Walter also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sophia Wichman, each putting up two.

Hayden has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That lines up perfectly with their 18-6 record this season. As for Topeka, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-10-2.

Hayden didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Junction City/St. Xavier on the 4th. As for Topeka, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Manhattan on the 4th.
