After only six points in their last matchup, Moses Brown made sure to put some points up on the board against Mt. Hope two weeks ago. Moses Brown really took it to Mt. Hope for the full four quarters, racking up a 34-7 win on the road. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Moses Brown had established a 21 point advantage.
Myles Craddock was on fire: he rushed for 126 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 84 receiving yards and a touchdown. Craddock was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 62 yards.
Meanwhile, Pilgrim faced Johnston in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Pilgrim received a tough blow on Thursday as they fell 29-14 to Johnston.
Moses Brown's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Pilgrim, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Everything came up roses for Moses Brown against Pilgrim in their previous meeting back in October of 2022 as the team secured a 28-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Moses Brown since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
