The Seaforth Hawks had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.1 points), and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Cummings 64-15 at home. Seaforth has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 36 points or more this season.
Gabby White continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Ajayi, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Seaforth pushed their record up to 15-2 with that victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.92 points. As for Cummings, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Seaforth will head out on the road to square off against Chatham Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chatham Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 237th, while Seaforth is ranked 20th). As for Cummings, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Graham at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
