Montgomery County started the game off right with 28 first-half points. Madison Southern wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 21 to make it 28-21 heading into the break. The offense for Montgomery County continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 28 points to put the game away. The contest brought them to 6-1 and dropped Madison Southern to a mirror-image 1-6.
Next week Montgomery County take on Anderson County at 7:30 PM. As for Madison Southern, they will face off against Woodford County.
