The Thales Academy Apex Titans scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Friday. They blew past Friendship Christian 66-11 on the road. Considering Thales Academy Apex has won six matches by more than 23  points this season,  Friday's blowout was nothing new.
 Thales Academy Apex got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Anna Maass out in front who  scored 38 points along with six  steals and five  rebounds. The  matchup was  Maass' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Kate Sproul, who  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and ten  steals.
 The  victory  makes it two in a row for Thales Academy Apex and  bumps their season record up to 10-4. As for Friendship Christian, they bumped their record down to 3-10 with that  defeat, which was their 15th straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thales Academy Apex will be staying on the road  on Monday to face off against Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill at 5:30  p.m.  on January 8th. Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 478th, while Thales Academy Apex is ranked 187th). As for Friendship Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Thales Academy Rolesville at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
