The C. Milton Wright Mustangs''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 20-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Milford Mill Academy. C. Milton Wright lost against Milford Mill Academy in their previous head to head back in November of 2017, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 46-14 score last time.
Milford Mill Academy was led to victory by Damon Ferguson jr. and Deshawn Purdie. Ferguson jr. rushed for 86 yards on only nine carries, while Purdie threw for 153 yards and a touchdown.
C. Milton Wright's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Milford Mill Academy, their victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-2.
C. Milton Wright does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Milford Mill Academy will square off against New Town at TBD on Friday. New Town is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.
