On Thursday, Southeast Raleigh are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Garner Magnet at 6:30 PM. Neither Southeast Raleigh nor Garner Magnet could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
Southeast Raleigh couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost to Northern Nash by a decisive 0-20 margin. Southeast Raleigh were down by 0-20 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Garner Magnet had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-42 to Cleveland. Garner Magnet were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-35.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
