The Oswego Indians will face off against the Altoona-Midway Jets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oswego is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
Last Tuesday, everything went Oswego's way against Yates Center as Oswego made off with a 62-37 win. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

Oswego's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Owen Jackson led the charge by going 12 of 16 on his way to 25 points and six rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Jackson now owns an excellent 45.2% field goal percentage. Demitri Williamson was another key player, going 5 for 9 en route to 12 points and seven steals.
Meanwhile, Altoona-Midway came up short against Marmaton Valley on Friday and fell 45-35. The Jets have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Oswego will need to focus on slowing down William Stackhouse, one of several Altoona-Midway players who made an impact when they last played. He dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. Stackhouse has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 37 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Chance Mustain, who posted seven points and five steals.
Oswego's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 35.7% in those games and 17.7% outside of them. As for Altoona-Midway, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Oswego has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Altoona-Midway struggles in that department as they've been averaging 33.9 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Oswego beat Altoona-Midway 55-47 in their previous matchup back in January. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Stackhouse, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Oswego still be able to contain Stackhouse? There's only one way to find out.
