The biggest upset of the week belonged to Valley Lutheran, who took down 253rd ranked Valley Lutheran, 35-27. Hunter DeBeau threw for 50 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 37 yards in the win.
Ithaca extended the longest winning streak in Tri-Valley - West this week by beating St. Louis, 70-0. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Yellowjackets.
Markes Gadlen was the best wideout in the league this week as Ithaca bested the Sharks. Gadlen tallied one reception for 61 yards. Jared Evers helped Ithaca's passing attack out by catching two balls for 21 yards.
Mike Greenwood threw for 105 yards and four touchdowns. He went seven-13 with zero interceptions.
Jordan Garchow was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 14 carries, he ran for 160 yards as Merrill bested St. Louis.
6-foot-2 quarterback Travis Smith of the Yellowjackets is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1299. He has also thrown 23 touchdowns. On the ground, Michigan Lutheran Seminary's Stephen Dietrich has rushed for 1088 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Derek Good. The Merrill star has 20 catches for 405 yards.
The Vandals moved up to 288 from 360 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Merrill was able to make the jump by topping the Chargers 35-27.
